Got out this morning at dawn and started with a few casts in the north wall wash. With a few beach etc reports of good tailor I was hopeful but no hits, though only had a few casts as a decent breaking surf made the flats unfishable and the run in / easterly made the end pretty hairy, could only get one cast in before being pushed too close to rocks. Headed to scottish prince for livies then a look at bait reef for macks. Again the easterly was pretty bumpy, slow trolled a few yakkas for zilch so back to north wall for top of tide. There were good jewies there, had 4 solid hookups to good fish only to drop all mid fight…one of those days. After heading home to pick up pots and kids (3 and 5yrs) stage 2 was a run from paradise point and dropped a few pots from there to aldershots. Plenty a of muddies but all under or females but 2 good sandies from aldershots.
