Flatty Classic

Hey guys im going in the classic this year… anyone willing to share a few good spots down this end of the broad water?

Under the broawater parklands jetty holds a few big ones at times, as does the edges of the seaway walls where the rocks meet the sand. Horseshoe flats, and the flats opposite the grand hotel boat ramp is also worth a cast. I haven’t chased flatties for years though so the info might be a little out of date.

Thanks mate, yes I guess any sand flat or drop off has the chance of holding flatties, will give the jetty a go first up….

That report I posted the other week with the big lizard print…that was west wave break flats there were also numerous smaller male prints within 5m of it…who knows maybe shes still there a couple of weeks later! haha good luck with the classis

Today would have been one of the hardest day fishing….. only 7 fish for the boat…and the wind……all day ya working against it…shocking

How did you end up fish wise Wayno it looked like it was tough fishing.
