No worries mate the worst is the when the fly fisherman get up where you were.
Because they need a long distance to cast where as other boats jigging straight up n down you can get pretty close without any issues.
As for who eats them.
I don’t want to sound rude or arrogant, but if you knew how to clean Trevally up & knew how to cook. They can be a made feed.
But if you just stuck them in oven wrapped in foil. well even I wouldn’t touch them with a 10ft pole either.
Different fish for different recipes .
For me I never used to eat Bonito ever, just kept them for bait,
But a while back I tried them in a recipe I used to use Kingfish & Bonito tasted heaps better.

I cooked up 4 trevs here.
Of the 10 fish I kept. I gave 2 to my nabour, 3 to another mate & 4 for my family.
Fillet, Skin, Debone, cut the blood lines out.
Then thinly slice the fillets

But having said this.
If the good fish are on offer, then I will not be looking at a Trevally lol.
