I’ve been catching heaps of pike…it’s quite fun actually. My daughter loves it also. I find the easiest and best way to catch them is to drift and cast and whip the line whilst winding in the slack, also jigging from side to side at the end of the boat. My biggest was 29cm. I have kept them all (around 20) and freezed them for next time when the ocean is calm to use them as trolling baits. I always throw a livie out whilst I’m drifting and catching more. I’ve had a few hits but can’t seem to hook anything…I did happen to hook up a blue swimmer…lol.
