Hey Wayno.
I went out Wednesday and Friday this week,
Wednesday went offshore but came back in seaway to fish the high.
Plenty of school jew, nailed 8 on Friday morning. Only 1 keeper at 78cm.
A fair bit of surface action mainly the likes of tailor and queenies.
Also landed 1 gt down deep.
Friday was quiet at the start but about from 9 till 11 sporadic surface action all over. Kingies, queenies and mackerel were the main species I saw landed.
We only got 1 tiny jew, a couple of tailor and 1 Spanish.
Very surprised to land a Spanish from the northwall. Only about 4kg but we lost a much bigger one not long after that. Saw another 2 landed. The guy in a small tinnie next to me landed one about 15kg (HUGE), and this was all from the northwall. It ran straight into our lines but after that was sorted, we enjoyed watching him battle it out with his stella 20000.
Saw 2 kingies landed by others as well. Crazy to see the Spanish randomly firing out the water.
Yakkas did the damage.
Cheers
Kane
