Fish Alert Thursday 21st March

Yes, its what we have all been waiting for, the GT's have arrived. I got 3 out of massive surface feeding schools (50+ fish) on wednesday at around 1pm. All schools were feeding between the north wall of wavebreak and about 100m north of the dredge. Bait schools are holding in this area. Size was around the mid 50's. Now before you get too excited, they didn't show today but at least they are around. My brain is fried right now after nearly 30 hours of straight fishing, but I wanted to get this up quick. They are chasing small white pichards, I used a 15 gram gillies baitfish slug and they ate it instantly.

I was there today from 330 pm to 5 and there was no sign of them lots of bait there though

This afternoon we got one around 450mm 100m East of the end of the North Wall on a Rapala XD10 Glass Ghost but other than that, fish were scarce. Had to come in early.

The hooks on the gillys definitely need upgrading, I use owner st56 #6 or decoy y-s81 #6

Hey john, was using 40gm and 20gm raiders, every time i was out they werent fussy at all ended up throwing yo zuri poppers at them aswell!! Was exciting seeing them smash your popper as your skimming it accross the surface!!
