Heres a couple of different images of the canyon today in the middle of the run in tide. While the Gt’s were sulking they would not come up for a popper but when they moved onto the 8m ledge from the deeper part they would feed.
This is just one thing i have noticed with their feeding behaviour.
Very interesting, not much bait getting through to them, I wonder why they are not searching for it like they used to. They either aren’t hungry or are conserving energy.
Here’s a pic of what GT’s look like at night, they don’t school like they do during the day, they spread out over the bottom in a large area. This was in the northern Y, but I’ve seen the same thing over the bottom in front of the north wall.
